What a mind map is

A mind map radiates from one central idea into branches and sub-points, holding a whole problem space on a single screen without forcing it into a linear list.

When to use one

The data format

Row 1 = central idea. Each later line: Branch, child, child, child.

Paste rows like this — copy the example straight into the builder to see it render:

Product Launch
Marketing, emails, ads, PR
Engineering, API, mobile, QA
Sales, demos, pricing
Support, docs, training

How to make one

  1. Paste your data into the Studio, or upload a CSV or XLSX file.
  2. Set your colours — by hand, from pasted brand hex codes, or extracted from your logo.
  3. Generate and export as PNG or SVG for your deck or report.

One thing people get wrong. Keep to two levels for anything you plan to present. Deep nesting is useful while thinking and unreadable once shared.

Why it runs in your browser

Charts are parsed and drawn entirely on your own device. No rows, files or logos are uploaded, so a mind map built from confidential project or process data never touches a server. You can verify it: open your browser's network tab while you generate one.
